“It is important for our community of second-homeowners to have a place where they can find up-to-date information about the town when they aren’t here.”

Director of Housing

“Mountain Village is a unique community with many second-homeowners.  It is important for them to have a place where they can find up-to-date information about the town when they aren’t here,” said Mollye Wolahan, Mountain Village Director of Housing, Planning, and Economic Development.  “The new site is a valuable asset for our year-round residents as well.  By logging on, residents and visitors can view a detailed events calendar, download building and housing applications, and learn about our community.  I encourage everyone to visit us on the web.”

The redesigned Website also provides meeting agendas and minutes to the public.  Convenient access to documents from Mountain Village Metro Services, Mountain Village Metro District, Town Council, and the Design Review Board enable the public to stay informed about board and council decisions.

“We know that our merchants along with our homeowners are very interested in changes taking place in the Village,” said Wolahan.  “Now they can find out what is happening in our board and council meetings through the site.”

CivicPlus, a company specializing in e-government content management on the Internet, designed Mountain Village’s new site.  Working with Mountain Village staff, CivicPlus customized the layout and content of the site to reflect the town’s distinct needs, attributes, and image.
